Dawn McKenna

Dawn has a broad business background with experience and education in finance, human resources and management, and has been involved in the disability community for over ten years. In 1999 Dawn left the corporate world, looking for new challenges and the opportunity to help make a difference. Working in the field of developmental disabilities and in the non-profit sector has presented numerous challenges. However, she notes that the successes and achievements made by students in the programs make the challenges seem easier. Dawn and staff at the Centre for Specialized Learning continue their efforts to ensure programs are effective for every student and continue to meet the growing needs of the community.
